Olga Mercedes Álava Vargas is an Ecuadorian beauty pageant titleholder and model who was crowned in 2011 Miss Earth Ecuador and Miss Earth 2011.Álava, who stands 1.73 m (5 ft 8 in) tall, competed as the representative of Guayas in Miss Ecuador 2011, and became the eventual the 3rd Runner-up.Álava was crowned Miss Earth 2011 by Miss Earth 2010 Nicole Faria on December 3, 2011 at the University of the Philippines Theatre in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines.
